Did you happen to see the bio on CNN about Ted Turner?  His children were talking about the early holidays not being good memories and they cut to a home movie where Ted is directing children to go upstairs with those video games, put stuff there, and do this not that.  Till I saw that, I thought at least everyone’s childhood holiday memories were wonderful—something to cling to…a happy spot to go to.  Why is that?  I think a lot of it has to do with as children we are able to be in the present—you know, the new buzz word for appreciating and drinking in the exact moment without judgement or preconceived notions and expectations.  I think I’ll try that this year (see title).  Here are tips from Donna Sapolin,of Next Avenue, on how to keep the peace during the upcoming season.  Click here for the do as I say, not as I do, information.  And look at it this way, you could be in the Cheney family…….how’d you like to be at that holiday table?
