THE NIGHT TEXAS CLOSED

Bright lights, big city.

The forecast is freezing weather with sleet, rain, and snow later tonight.  Only in Texas can you have a 67 degree day and plummet to the teens that night.  I, along with many others, dashed to HEB where it was a frenzy of panicked people grabbing things off the shelves like it was Armageddon.  (I’m convinced HEB pays the weather channel to broadcast sub-zero weather.). Anyway, tonight, when Dennis and I went out for a quick bite, I snapped these pictures of downtown Marble Falls…pre-apocalypse.  It only seemed fitting to post them in black and white.

These sparkly curtains will be blowing in a few hours.
