SAVOR—PART DEUX

I am soooo sorry.  I apologize.  I forgot to alert you the 2nd annual SAVOR THE HILL COUNTRY was happening at the Science Mill in Johnson City.  Unfortunately, for you it was last Sunday, as in, you missed it.  But, fortunately, for me-it was just another fantastic evening in the beautiful Texas Hill Country.  Where else can you sample the best offerings of local area restaurants, wineries, distilleries………..and see an exhibit of an aquaponics garden?  All the while listening to muy cool music?  Like I said, I’m really sorry you couldn’t make it.  I’ll try and remember next year to remind you.  But just in case, sign up for the Science Mill’s blog.  You’ll also find out about other upcoming exhibits.  In the mean time, here are some snapshots of the night……..Did I mention how much fun it was????

A nice long pour from Ron Yates Wines

You must read about the family at Andulusia Whiskey Co

Loved seeing Cindy and Dave from 4th street Bistro in Blanco

Auction items for everyone.

Caroline, from 4.O Cellars, and I talk wine club and Veldhuizen Cheese

Must get back to William & Chris Vineyards in downtown Hye

Mini cupcakes from Aszha Cottage Bakery.  BTW, the soiree is “Texas Dressy Casual”

Kuhlman Cellars is one of the award winning wineries on Hwy 290

You must go next year! Heads up: it’s become a very popular hill country event and I think they’ll probably start limiting the attendance so get your reservations early.

It’s really is a one stop shopping for sampling award winning Texas Hill Country wines, spirits, and eateries.
