SAVOR JOHNSON CITY

I’m tellin’ ya, the Texas hill country is the place to be.  There is so much going on.  Take, for instance, last night in Johnson City was the first annual Savor the Hill Country held at the Science Mill.  You know, that place that looks like an old grain mill that sits right on the corner in downtown Johnson City.  I have wanted to go to the mill for years, but, since it’s generally thought of as a learning experience for kids, I haven’t ventured in.  Has anyone ever been carded for being to old?  Anyway, Savor the Hill Country was the perfect opportunity to check the place out and sample some of the local eateries and vineyards.  Oh!  And bid on some awesome goodies—all of which went to benefit the Johnson City Chamber of Commerce.  I’ll let the pictures do the talking.  By the way,  thanks for the invitation, JC…………………It’s on my calendar for next year!

First to greet was Don Tamillo of Pecan Street Brewing.
